The American Red Cross Volunteer Focus Minimize

Special Note About Volunteering in Haiti and Chile: Thank you for your desire to help so many devastated by the earthquakes in Hait and Chile. At this time, the American Red Cross is only deploying volunteers specially trained to manage international emergency operations. It takes about 6 months to get training as an American Red Cross International Delegate. We understand that if there are other Agencies that need volunteers, they will be listed at www.Interaction.org. Again, we thank you for your caring and concern and if you are interested in volunteering locally, please read on.


The American Red Cross is able to provide services to the community only because of volunteers. They are the direct link between the type and amount of service that the Red Cross is able to deliver. Descriptions of volunteer opportunities available are listed below.
